In & Around Minehead
Minehead is the perfect place from which to explore the South West Coastal Path, Exmoor, and the surrounding area.
The town centre has a wide choice of pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. For a very good carvery or pub meal, and excellent play area for the kids, we recommend the Hairy Dog on Minehead High Street. Nearby Mullions Restaurant serves an excellent A La Carte menu and offers a very warm welcome.
For sports fans, the Mambo Pub & Club on the promenade has a 26 foot TV screen and shows all the major events. It serves food and children are allowed access until 9:00pm.
The town centre has a good selection of shops and there is a large market behind the Hobby Horse Inn, Esplanade, twice a week during the high season.
Of course there is also the beautiful sandy beaches on the doorstep.
